With five beautifully appointed bedrooms, The Old Barn comfortably accommodates ten to eleven guests, creating a haven for families and friends seeking an exceptional retreat.

The pièce de résistance of The Old Barn is its expansive new deck area, featuring a luxurious hot tub, inviting garden furnishings, plush sun loungers, and a delightful outdoor dining area. Here, you'll be captivated by the enchanting panoramic views stretching across the verdant valley. It's a sanctuary of relaxation and indulgence, whether you picture sipping morning coffee on the comfortable sofa as the sun bathes the sky in golden hues or sharing laughter and stories during al fresco dinners imbued with the essence of the surrounding countryside. And as the day gracefully fades, there's no better place to bid adieu to the sun than from the soothing embrace of the hot tub, where the sky transforms into a breath-taking masterpiece.

Upon entering, you'll be welcomed by the grandeur of triple-height vaulted wooden ceilings reaching skyward and the tactile allure of exposed stone walls that murmur tales of history. The Old Barn transcends being a mere holiday cottage; it seamlessly merges with the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that envelops it, paying homage to the splendour of its surroundings.

A culinary haven awaits in the spacious, well-appointed kitchen, complete with a four-door electric Aga and an espresso/cappuccino coffee maker, promising gastronomic delights. Each of the bedrooms tells its own story of comfort and opulence. The ground floor hosts a sun-drenched haven with a super king-size bed and an ensuite shower room, complemented by a sunroom that opens onto a private terrace and enclosed lawn. Ascend to the upper chambers—a bedroom with a super king/twin zip and link bed, connected to a family bathroom, and a balcony revealing the valley's enchantment. Nestled within the barn's embrace, a cosy twin bedroom offers a cocoon of tranquillity.

At the far end of this sanctuary, the Family Suite beckons. A master bedroom of grand proportions, with an ensuite shower room and double sink, opens onto the deck, granting you a front-row seat to nature's spectacle. Throughout The Old Barn, discreet wooden built-in stair gates provide peace of mind for families with toddlers, ensuring safety without compromising the seamless aesthetic.

We ask guests for a security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card of £500.00.  This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay.  The money is simply reserved and then released after your stay if there is no damage.  The owner will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
