There are some excellent local pubs providing food in the nearby villages of Exford, Simonsbath and Winsford and of course further afield.
You will also find some charming tea rooms well worth a visit during your stay.  Or perhaps take a picnic by the river to Withypool, Landacre Bridge or Tarr Steps.

Tarr Steps and River Barle Walk - This is a circular walk that starts at Tarr Steps and takes you along the River Barle. The walk is approximately 6 miles long and takes around 3 hours to complete.

Dunkery Beacon - This is the highest point in Exmoor National Park and offers stunning views across the countryside. The walk is approximately 3 miles long and takes around 2 hours to complete.

Horner Water and Lank Combe Walk - This is a circular walk that takes you through some beautiful wooded valleys and along the Horner Water. The walk is approximately 5 miles long and takes around 2.5 hours to complete.

Beaches:

Lynmouth Beach - This is a shingle beach located on the North Devon coast, approximately 10 miles from Simon's Bath. It's a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing.

Porlock Weir Beach - This is a small pebble beach located on the West Somerset coast, approximately 10 miles from Simon's Bath. It's a quiet and peaceful spot that's perfect for a relaxing day out.

Woolacombe Beach - This is a long sandy beach located on the North Devon coast, approximately 25 miles from Simon's Bath. It's a popular spot for surfing and other water sports.
