Luccombe is a small village located on the coast of Exmoor National Park in Somerset, England. Here are some things to do in and around Luccombe:

Luccombe Beach - This secluded pebble beach is located just a short walk from the village and offers stunning views of the coast.

Valley of Rocks - This dramatic valley is located just a few miles from Luccombe and features stunning rock formations and scenic walking trails.

Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway - This unique railway takes you on a scenic ride up the steep cliffs from Lynmouth to Lynton, offering stunning views of the coast and countryside.

Watersmeet House - This National Trust property is located just a few miles from Luccombe and features beautiful gardens and scenic walking trails along the river.

There are a huge number of beautiful and varied walks in terms of length, difficulty, views and topography right from the cottage - the cottage has full directions for a number of walks and local walking maps to give you a hand in deciding where to wander. With over 750 miles of path marked 'Right of Way' in Exmoor (including a chunk of the Coastal Path) you're bound to find something to suit.

Minehead beach is only 4 miles away, and Dunster only a little further if you are looking for some sand. In the other direction there are sandy beaches at Lynton & Lynmouth - the drive there alone is well worth it for the stunning scenery! If you're into bird watching, a walk from Bossington beach around to Porlock or Porlock Weir encompassing the pebble ridge and salt marsh is wonderful.
