The Mill House was once a working water mill, the downstairs double bedroom has a beautiful arched window where the mill wheel used to turn. The Mill House offers versatile accommodation for up to 6 guest - great for families or gatherings of friends with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The Mill House has been renovated throughout and redecorated to a high standard. The accommodation comprises a large kitchen-dining room downstairs and two bedrooms, one with a double bed with en-suite shower room, and one with twin beds, plus family bathroom with shower over the bath. Upstairs is the sitting room with wood-burner and the third bedroom (super-king bed, which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite shower room. There is a paved courtyard to the rear of the house with a picnic bench provided. There is access to both the upper and lower levels of the property from the outside. The Mill House kitchen is well equipped with all new appliances including fridge, freezer, oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, cookware and a variety of kitchen utensils. A television (with freeview) and DVD player are situated in the sitting room. Wifi is installed in the property. A cot and high chair are available, please request these items when booking so we can make sure they are ready for your arrival. There is a hairdryer in each bedroom. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The property benefits from central heating in the form of underfloor heating in the kitchen-dining room and in the downstairs bathroom, and radiators in the bedrooms and sitting room. There is also a feature wood-burner in the sitting room; one basket of logs and some kindling will be left in to get you started, further supplies can be purchased locally. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. Bed linen is not supplied for the cot. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits will be provided for your arrival, so you can have a hot drink before unpacking the car. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and a kitchen cloth will be provided plus one or two toilet rolls.
