The Pippins is a spacious detached bungalow nestled in a quiet spot between the hills and the sea, thus enjoying a lovely mild micro-climate. Here you will be ideally placed to explore the unique, historic and diverse landscape of West Somerset at any time of year.
The Pippins is a very comfortable property which benefits from gas central heating and double glazing throughout providing your home comforts in this stunning area. The bungalow sleeps two people in one bedroom, which can be made up as a super-king size or as twin beds. The spacious lounge, a conservatory, and the kitchen has an adjoining utility room to store your walking boots. The bathroom is also spacious and benefits from a bath and separate shower unit. We are very lucky to have some really good pubs with great food The White Horse Inn, in Washford is approximately 30 mins walk (or 4-5 mins in the car). The Valiant Solider, Roadwater has great food is about 5 mins drive. There are 2 cafes at Blue Anchor beach and The smugglers Inn. Dunster has also Pubs, restaurants, and Cafes. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The Pippins benefits from central heating which can be adjusted to suit your preferences. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. The cottage is equipped with salt and pepper mills and some cleaning materials to get you started and one or two toilet rolls will also be provided. Directly outside is a table and some chairs for you to enjoy alfresco dining should you choose to. The gardens are shared with another self-catering cottage (The Bramleys) and the main house which the owners run as a Bed & Breakfast, however there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the stunning scenery. Off-road parking is available in an allocated space. Sorry, no pets allowed in The Pippins. This property is strictly non-smoking. The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests. The Pippins is available for week-long stays and short breaks, minimum stay is three nights.

Dunster is well worth a visit for sight-seeing as well as shopping and has many restaurants, tea rooms and pubs se...rving food. Minehead is the main town West Somerset and is approximately 6 miles from The Pippins. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrisons and Lidi are situated on the outskirts of the town and have long opening hours), plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
