Horse Riding in Exmoor National Park is a fantastic way to get out into the stunning landscape here. The varied woodland, moors and open fields are crisscrossed with miles of tracks and bridleways, ideal for exploring on horseback. There is an abundance of wildlife here, from buzzards to red deer, butterflies to wild Exmoor ponies. Between the spectacular views, enchanting ancient pathways and creatures galore you will have plenty to take in.
There are numerous horse stables across Exmoor, catering for novices through to experienced riders, individuals or family groups. Mostly riding will be in small groups with an experienced leader. For beginners and those wanting tuition, this is often available.
