The region
+ MoreThere is hardly any need to use your car during a stay in Halsecombe Cottage, we like to think that most of what you may need can be purchased in the village of Porlock. It is a traditional working Exmoor village boasting three pubs, two grocery shops, Post Office, a traditional ...local butcher, chemist, cash machine, petrol station, hardware shop, visitor centre and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 7 miles away. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrisons are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town
